Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a slave woman came to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”

When it was evening He *came with the twelve.

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone! Why are you bothering her? She has done a good deed for Me.

Then again He laid His hands on his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and began to see everything clearly.

After they kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.

But he denied it, saying, “I do not know Him, woman!”

Then the slave woman who was the doorkeeper *said to Peter, “You are not also one of this Man’s disciples, are you?” He *said, “I am not.”
