then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.” ’ ”

Why have you prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘This house will be like Shiloh and this city will be in ruins, without inhabitant’?” And all the people gathered to Jeremiah at the house of the Lord.

How dark the gold has become, How the pure gold has changed! The sacred stones are spilled out At the corner of every street.

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, the houses plundered, the women raped, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be eliminated from the city.

But He responded and said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

They asked Him questions, saying, “Teacher, when therefore will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”
