And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.
Then they hurried, and each man took his garment and put it under him on the bare steps, and blew the trumpet, saying, “Jehu is king!”
Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled:
and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their cloaks on them; and He sat on the cloaks.
They said, “The Lord has need of it.”
Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road.
On the next day, when the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:
