The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.

Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord.

May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not be ashamed.

But there is forgiveness with You, So that You may be revered.

“I, the Lord, am your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

“Instead, I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

and they prostituted themselves in Egypt. They prostituted themselves in their youth; there their breasts were squeezed and there their virgin breasts were handled.

Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.

And they shall no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the prostitute. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations.” ’

He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word with a good and virtuous heart, and hold it firmly, and produce fruit with perseverance.

So the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing.

For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

You are to be blameless before the Lord your God.

You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.

so that you may discover the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ;

Joshua said to all the people, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says: ‘From ancient times your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates River, namely, Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, and they served other gods.

“Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

If you will fear the Lord and serve Him, and listen to His voice and not rebel against the command of the Lord, then both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God.

Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, then remove the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to the Lord and serve Him alone; and He will save you from the hand of the Philistines.”
