Then the Levitical priests stood and blessed the people; and their voice was heard and their prayer came to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.

¶The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes see, His eyelids test the sons of mankind.

Blessed is the one You choose and allow to approach You; He will dwell in Your courtyards. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

“Behold, for my own welfare I had great bitterness; But You have kept my soul from the pit of nothingness, For You have hurled all my sins behind Your back.

Who is among you who fears the Lord, Who obeys the voice of His Servant, Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.

“So I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

Hear, you peoples, all of you; Listen carefully, earth and all it contains, And may the Lord God be a witness against you, The Lord from His holy temple.

“But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before Him.”

For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Also, David was in great distress because the people spoke of stoning him, for all the people were embittered, each one because of his sons and his daughters. But David felt strengthened in the Lord his God.
