So His brothers said to Him, “Move on from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing.

Now then, come and let’s kill him, and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say, ‘A vicious animal devoured him.’ Then we will see what will become of his dreams!”

“For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have called aloud after you. Do not believe them, though they say nice things to you.”

While He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him.

And when His own people heard about this, they came out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, “He has lost His senses.”

Then His mother and His brothers *came, and while standing outside they sent word to Him, calling for Him.

Now His mother and brothers came to Him, and they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd.

And it was reported to Him, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You.”

and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

So then many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This statement is very unpleasant; who can listen to it?”

As a result of this many of His disciples left, and would no longer walk with Him.

But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as though in secret.

For no one does anything in secret when he himself is striving to be known publicly. If You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.”

For not even His brothers believed in Him.

But Peter, taking his stand with the other eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, know this, and pay attention to my words.

Now Eliab his oldest brother heard him when he spoke to the men; and Eliab’s anger burned against David and he said, “Why is it that you have come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I myself know your insolence and the wickedness of your heart; for you have come down in order to see the battle.”
