For the sons of Israel will live for many days without a king or leader, without sacrifice or memorial stone, and without ephod or household idols.

¶“Now, why do you cry out loudly? Is there no king among you, Or has your counselor perished, That agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth?

So they shouted, “Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate *said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

But if you still do evil, both you and your king will be swept away.”
