So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.

Then the days of Adam after he fathered Seth were eight hundred years, and he fathered other sons and daughters.

Now Seth lived 105 years, and fathered Enosh.

So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.

For we will surely die and are like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up. Yet God does not take away life, but makes plans so that the banished one will not be cast out from Him.

then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

For the living know that they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have a reward any longer, for their memory is forgotten.

See that your clothes are white all the time, and that there is no lack of oil on your head.

Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.

by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding close to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, so that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment,
