And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

So he went and got them, and brought them to his mother; and his mother made a delicious meal such as his father loved.

So he came close and kissed him; and when he smelled the smell of his garments, he blessed him and said, “See, the smell of my son Is like the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed;

Then he also made a delicious meal, and brought it to his father; and he said to his father, “Let my father arise and eat of his son’s game, that you may bless me.”

Now Rebekah was listening while Isaac spoke to his son Esau. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game to bring home,

‘Bring me some game and prepare a delicious meal for me, so that I may eat, and bless you in the presence of the Lord before my death.’

Go now to the flock and bring me two choice young goats from there, so that I may prepare them as a delicious meal for your father, such as he loves.

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, so that you may become a multitude of peoples.

And Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” So he said, “Bring them to me, please, so that I may bless them.”

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them. He blessed them, every one with the blessing appropriate to him.

While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even regarding things to come.

So Joshua blessed him and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.

So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.
