Therefore he treated Abram well for her sake; and he gave him sheep, oxen, male donkeys, male servants and female servants, female donkeys, and camels.

And the land could not support both of them while living together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to remain together.

Now Abraham was old, advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in every way.

The Lord has greatly blessed my master, so that he has become rich; and He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and servants and slave women, and camels and donkeys.

So the man became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks, and female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.

Have You not made a fence around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

His possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and very many servants; and that man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

But you are to remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, in order to confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

for bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

“The Lord makes poor and rich; He humbles, He also exalts.
