And God called the dry land “earth,” and the gathering of the waters He called “seas”; and God saw that it was good.
God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.
¶May the glory of the Lord endure forever; May the Lord rejoice in His works;
Who made heaven and earth, The sea and everything that is in them; Who keeps faith forever;
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He puts the depths in storehouses.
The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.
So he said to them, “I am a Hebrew, and I fear the Lord God of heaven who made the sea and the dry land.”
“The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.
