Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, “Lord, God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.

Then Huram, king of Tyre, answered in a letter sent to Solomon: “Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.”

“You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their lights, The earth and everything that is on it, The seas and everything that is in them. You give life to all of them, And the heavenly lights bow down before You.

“By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding,

Who alone stretches out the heavens, And tramples down the waves of the sea;

“In time of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

¶Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.

You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the ground.

May you be blessed of the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

May the Lord bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.

To Him who made the heavens with skill, For His faithfulness is everlasting;

Who made heaven and earth, The sea and everything that is in them; Who keeps faith forever;

¶By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their lights.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood firm.

¶When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place;

What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him?

Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

When He had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.

The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.

The Lord founded the earth by wisdom, He established the heavens by understanding.

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;

“Lord of armies, God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made heaven and earth.

¶Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

Raise your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who brings out their multitude by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable.

This is what God the Lord says, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it:

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the One who formed you from the womb: “I, the Lord, am the Maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

For this is what the Lord says, He who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it as a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited): “I am the Lord, and there is no one else.

That you have forgotten the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? And where is the rage of the oppressor?

And I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’ ”

¶“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.

¶It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

‘Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

¶It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.

The pronouncement of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: The Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of a person within him, declares:

At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants.

For those days will be such a time of tribulation as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will again.

and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men, of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, to turn from these useless things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them.

The God who made the world and everything that is in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by hands;

And when they heard this, they raised their voices to God with one mind and said, “Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them,

For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

and to enlighten all people as to what the plan of the mystery is which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;

And, “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of Your hands;

in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the world.

By faith we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible.

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water,

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—

and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will no longer be a delay,

and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea and springs of waters.”

Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give water to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life, without cost.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Origin of the creation of God, says this:

“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”
