He also put garrisons in Edom. In all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord helped David wherever he went.

David became greater and greater, for the Lord God of armies was with him.

And the Lord was with him; wherever he went he was successful. And he revolted against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

Then he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord helped David wherever he went.

God, You have rejected us. You have broken us; You have been angry; restore us!
