But when David returned to bless his own household, Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, “How the king of Israel dignified himself today! For he exposed himself today in the sight of his servants’ female slaves, as one of the rabble shamelessly exposes himself!”

Then he left the oxen behind and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back, for what have I done to you?”

Then Balaam arose, and he departed and returned to his place, and Balak also went on his way.

And they all began to weep aloud and embraced Paul, and repeatedly kissed him,

Greet all the brothers and sisters with a holy kiss.

And they raised their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.

And David swore an oath to Saul. Then Saul went to his home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold.
