But you shall fear the Lord your God; and He will save you from the hand of all your enemies.”

“And to mankind He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to turn away from evil is understanding.’ ”

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.

May my heart be blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not be ashamed.

The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will come upon you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

¶The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.

for our God is a consuming fire.

“Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and do away with the gods which your fathers served beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
