how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,

We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

For there are three that testify:

saying, “Write on a scroll what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this:
