that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God.
whom heaven must receive until the times of universal restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.
For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God;
And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown corruptible; it is raised incorruptible.
That phrase, “once more,” points to [the] removal of shaken, created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.
But according to his promise we await new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
