Circumcision, to be sure, has value if you observe the law; but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

Be circumcised for the Lord, remove the foreskins of your hearts, people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Or else my anger will break out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of your evil deeds.

“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always oppose the holy Spirit; you are just like your ancestors.

For it is not those who hear the law who are just in the sight of God; rather, those who observe the law will be justified.

You who boast of the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

Again, if an uncircumcised man keeps the precepts of the law, will he not be considered circumcised?

Indeed, those who are physically uncircumcised but carry out the law will pass judgment on you, with your written law and circumcision, who break the law.

One is not a Jew outwardly. True circumcision is not outward, in the flesh.

Circumcision means nothing, and uncircumcision means nothing; what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

Not even those having themselves circumcised observe the law themselves; they only want you to be circumcised so that they may boast of your flesh.

For neither does circumcision mean anything, nor does uncircumcision, but only a new creation.

The Lord, your God, will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you will love the Lord, your God, with your whole heart and your whole being, in order that you may live.
