None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself.
Every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of hosts. All who come to sacrifice will take them and cook in them. No longer will there be merchants in the house of the Lord of hosts on that day.
For this is why Christ died and came to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers,
He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep we may live together with him.
who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people as his own, eager to do what is good.
so as not to spend what remains of one’s life in the flesh on human desires, but on the will of God.
