John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him.

So the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from death continued to testify.

An eyewitness has testified, and his testimony is true; he knows that he is speaking the truth, so that you also may [come to] believe.
