A senseless person cannot know this; a fool cannot comprehend.
Sinners will be destroyed together; the future of the wicked will be cut off.
for: “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts;
But we call the arrogant blessed; for evildoers not only prosper but even test God and escape.”
Such, then, are the wicked, always carefree, increasing their wealth.
Yet the tents of robbers are prosperous, and those who provoke God are secure, whom God has in his power.
Their people powerless, dismayed and distraught, They are plants of the field, green growth, thatch on the rooftops, Grain scorched by the east wind.
For the straying of the naive kills them, the smugness of fools destroys them.
How long will they mouth haughty speeches, go on boasting, all these evildoers?
I was stupid and could not understand; I was like a brute beast in your presence.
