Preserve my life, for I am devoted; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God;
How long, O people, will you be hard of heart? Why do you love what is worthless, chase after lies? Selah
my God, in you I trust; do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me.
And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.
I am yours; save me, for I cherish your precepts.
For the leader. A psalm of David.
They attacked me on my day of distress, but the Lord was my support.
A miktam of David. Keep me safe, O God; in you I take refuge.
Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed,” lest my foes rejoice at my downfall.
Consequently, he has mercy upon whom he wills, and he hardens whom he wills.
Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me.
In your mercy put an end to my foes; all those who are oppressing my soul, for I am your servant.
“Gather my loyal ones to me, those who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
For the Lord loves justice and does not abandon the faithful. When the unjust are destroyed, and the offspring of the wicked cut off,
I hear the whispers of the crowd; terrors are all around me. They conspire together against me; they plot to take my life.
He guards the footsteps of his faithful ones, but the wicked shall perish in the darkness; for not by strength does one prevail.
