But he shall judge the poor with justice, and decide fairly for the land’s afflicted. He shall strike the ruthless with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

Without inquiry he shatters the mighty, and appoints others in their place,

How long will you afflict my spirit, grind me down with words?

Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one with whom I am pleased. Upon him I have put my spirit; he shall bring forth justice to the nations.

A bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench. He will faithfully bring forth justice.
