Give me a sign of your favor: make my enemies see, to their confusion, that you, Lord, help and comfort me.

What thanksgiving, then, can we render to God for you, for all the joy we feel on your account before our God?

For this reason we are encouraged. And besides our encouragement, we rejoice even more because of the joy of Titus, since his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

But God, who encourages the downcast, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus,
