Therefore my heart is glad, my soul rejoices; my body also dwells secure,

You changed my mourning into dancing; you took off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.

Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, strike up a song! Arise, Barak! Take captive your captors, son of Abinoam!

Therefore my heart has been glad and my tongue has exulted; my flesh, too, will dwell in hope,

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion; Put on your glorious garments, Jerusalem, holy city. Never again shall the uncircumcised or the unclean enter you.

Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the Lord has comforted his people, has redeemed Jerusalem.

Give praise with blasts upon the horn, praise him with harp and lyre.

They came to Jerusalem, with harps, lyres, and trumpets, to the house of the Lord.

Even now my head is held high above my enemies on every side! I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and chant praise to the Lord.

That I may come to the altar of God, to God, my joy, my delight. Then I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God.
