Bless the Lord, my soul! Lord, my God, you are great indeed! You are clothed with majesty and splendor,

Making known to the sons of men your mighty acts, the majestic glory of your rule.

They speak of the splendor of your majestic glory, tell of your wonderful deeds.

He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever.

Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.

who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and who sustains all things by his mighty word. When he had accomplished purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Indeed, the word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart.

The main point of what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

to the only God, our savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, power, and authority from ages past, now, and for ages to come. Amen.

In his right hand he held seven stars. A sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth, and his face shone like the sun at its brightest.
