Remember how brief life is, how frail the sons of man you have created!

Man is but a breath, his days are like a passing shadow.

Banish misery from your heart and remove pain from your body, for youth and black hair are fleeting.

If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest?
