O Lord, my God, I cried out to you for help and you healed me.
Your mercy to me is great; you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.
Of David. To you, Lord, I call; my Rock, do not be deaf to me, Do not be silent toward me, so that I join those who go down to the pit.
For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor let your devout one see the pit.
For my soul has been freed from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
Whatever bitter afflictions you sent me, you would turn and revive me. From the watery depths of the earth once more raise me up.
I have made vows to you, God; with offerings I will fulfill them,
He delivered me from passing to the pit, and my life sees light.”
Sent forth his word to heal them, and snatched them from the grave.
Those live whom the Lord protects; yours is the life of my spirit. You have given me health and restored my life!
