The joyful shout of deliverance is heard in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand works valiantly;

Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed,” lest my foes rejoice at my downfall.

There is no speech, no words; their voice is not heard;

For the leader. A psalm of David.

You have granted him his heart’s desire; you did not refuse the request of his lips. Selah

Then I will rejoice in the Lord, exult in God’s salvation.

You rocked the earth, split it open; repair the cracks for it totters.

Be gracious to me, Lord; see how my foes afflict me! You alone can raise me from the gates of death.

Moses built an altar there, which he named Yahweh-nissi;

On that day, The root of Jesse, set up as a signal for the peoples— Him the nations will seek out; his dwelling shall be glorious.

On that day it will be said: “Indeed, this is our God; we looked to him, and he saved us! This is the Lord to whom we looked; let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!”

I will rejoice heartily in the Lord, my being exults in my God; For he has clothed me with garments of salvation, and wrapped me in a robe of justice, Like a bridegroom adorned with a diadem, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Though all the peoples walk, each in the name of its god, We will walk in the name of the Lord, our God, forever and ever.

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord and exult in my saving God.

my spirit rejoices in God my savior.

Eli said, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have requested.”

David answered him: “You come against me with sword and spear and scimitar, but I come against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel whom you have insulted.
