There is none like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens in his power, who rides the clouds in his majesty;

Next I saw a large white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a mighty roar and the elements will be dissolved by fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be found out. Exhortation to Preparedness.

His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only earth but heaven.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing, you do not understand now, but you will understand later.”

At noon darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

He parted the heavens and came down, a dark cloud under his feet.

Raise your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth below; Though the heavens vanish like smoke, the earth wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies, My salvation shall remain forever and my victory shall always be firm.

Then the just will be glad; they will rejoice before God; they will celebrate with great joy.

Now Mount Sinai was completely enveloped in smoke, because the Lord had come down upon it in fire. The smoke rose from it as though from a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled violently.

Our God comes and will not be silent! Devouring fire precedes him, it rages strongly around him.

Fire goes before him, consuming his foes on every side.

For see, the Lord will come in fire, his chariots like the stormwind; To wreak his anger in burning rage and his rebuke in fiery flames.
