I delight in your commandments, which I dearly love.

The law of your mouth is more precious to me than heaps of silver and gold.

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The statutes of the Lord are true, all of them just;

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is preferable to silver.

[For Wisdom is better than corals, and no treasures can compare with her.]

To me, the very least of all the holy ones, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the inscrutable riches of Christ,
