I hate every hypocrite; your law I love.
How sweet to my tongue is your promise, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
I delight in your commandments, which I dearly love.
How I love your law, Lord! I study it all day long.
The Lord knows the plans of man; they are like a fleeting breath.
Let the wicked forsake their way, and sinners their thoughts; Let them turn to the Lord to find mercy; to our God, who is generous in forgiving.
Cleanse your heart of evil, Jerusalem, that you may be saved. How long will you entertain wicked schemes?
From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder,
and every pretension raising itself against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive in obedience to Christ,
since he is a man of two minds, unstable in all his ways.
