Hallelujah! Blessed the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commands.

A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the Lord, and who walk in his ways.

Who among you fears the Lord, heeds his servant’s voice? Whoever walk in darkness, without any light, Yet trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon their God!

His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.

Lead me in the path of your commandments, for that is my delight.

He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; prudent are all who practice it. His praise endures forever.

For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self,

How I love your law, Lord! I study it all day long.

Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy sanctuary; give praise in the mighty dome of heaven.

Hallelujah! How good to sing praise to our God; how pleasant to give fitting praise.

Though distress and anguish come upon me, your commandments are my delight.

so I said, “See; I come with an inscribed scroll written upon me.

The concern of the flesh is death, but the concern of the spirit is life and peace.

In your statutes I take delight; I will never forget your word.

I find joy in the way of your testimonies more than in all riches.

Hallelujah! I will praise the Lord with all my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright.

And because the midwives feared God, God built up families for them.

May you be blessed in the city, and blessed in the country!
