So we fasted, seeking this from our God, and it was granted.

Slay me though he might, I will wait for him; I will defend my conduct before him.

A song of ascents. Those trusting in the Lord are like Mount Zion, unshakable, forever enduring.

Trust in the Lord and do good that you may dwell in the land and live secure.

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will act

Yet if it happened the cloud was over the tabernacle only for a few days, at the direction of the Lord they stayed in camp; and at the Lord’s direction they broke camp.

Whether the cloud lingered over the tabernacle for two days or for a month or longer, the Israelites remained in camp and did not break camp; but when it lifted, they broke camp.

Have the same regard for one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly; do not be wise in your own estimation.

so that we might exist for the praise of his glory, we who first hoped in Christ.
