The truthful witness saves lives, but whoever utters lies is a betrayer.

The fruit of justice is a tree of life, and one who takes lives is a sage.

Whoever speaks honestly testifies truly, but the deceitful make lying witnesses.

A trustworthy witness does not lie, but one who spouts lies makes a lying witness.

The false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever utters lies will not escape.

I earnestly bore witness for both Jews and Greeks to repentance before God and to faith in our Lord Jesus.

Know this first of all, that in the last days scoffers will come [to] scoff, living according to their own desires
