Numbers 9:3

They slaughtered the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and Levites were shamed into sanctifying themselves and brought burnt offerings into the house of the Lord.

The king, his princes, and the entire assembly in Jerusalem had agreed to celebrate the Passover during the second month.

Josiah celebrated in Jerusalem a Passover to honor the Lord; the Passover sacrifice was slaughtered on the fourteenth day of the first month.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt:

The Passover of the Lord falls on the fourteenth day of the first month, at the evening twilight.

Tell the Israelites to celebrate the Passover at the prescribed time.

So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover,

if that were so, he would have had to suffer repeatedly from the foundation of the world. But now once for all he has appeared at the end of the ages to take away sin by his sacrifice.
