The following are the stages by which the Israelites went out by companies from the land of Egypt under the guidance of Moses and Aaron.
He sent his servant Moses, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
Through the sea was your way; your path, through the mighty waters, though your footsteps were unseen.
The Israelites set out from Rameses for Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, not counting the children.
At the end of four hundred and thirty years, on this very date, all the armies of the Lord left the land of Egypt.
On that same day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt company by company.
Instead, God rerouted them toward the Red Sea by way of the wilderness road, and the Israelites went up out of the land of Egypt arrayed for battle.
These are the Aaron and the Moses to whom the Lord said, “Bring the Israelites out from the land of Egypt, company by company.”
I brought you up from the land of Egypt, from the place of slavery I ransomed you; And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
Moses recorded the starting points of the various stages at the direction of the Lord. These are the stages according to their starting points:
“Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and struck Egypt with the plagues and wonders that I wrought in her midst. Afterward I led you out.
When Jacob and his sons went to Egypt and the Egyptians oppressed them, your ancestors cried out to the Lord. The Lord then sent Moses and Aaron to bring them out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
