Why do you wish to discourage the Israelites from crossing to the land the Lord has given them?

it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,

each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others.

Why did you stay beside your hearths listening to the lowing of the herds? Among the clans of Reuben great were the searchings of heart!
