Meribbaal had a young son whose name was Mica; and all the tenants of Ziba’s household worked for Meribbaal.

He then appointed certain Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to celebrate, thank, and praise the Lord, the God of Israel.

With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the others who were chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord, “whose love endures forever,”

For in the days of David and Asaph, long ago, there were leaders of singers for songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
