The Lord God of hosts, Who melts the earth with his touch, so that all who dwell on it mourn, So that it will all rise up like the Nile, and subside like the river of Egypt;
He stood and shook the earth; he looked and made the nations tremble. Ancient mountains were shattered, the age-old hills bowed low, age-old orbits collapsed.
On that day God’s feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is opposite Jerusalem to the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west by a very deep valley, and half of the mountain will move to the north and half of it to the south.
