the blind regain their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.

And behold, a Canaanite woman of that district came and called out, “Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is tormented by a demon.”

and said, “Lord, have pity on my son, for he is a lunatic and suffers severely; often he falls into fire, and often into water.

As they left Jericho, a great crowd followed him.

When the chief priests and the scribes saw the wondrous things he was doing, and the children crying out in the temple area, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant

The crowds preceding him and those following kept crying out and saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David; blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; hosanna in the highest.”

When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him.

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! Hosanna in the highest!”

It has often thrown him into fire and into water to kill him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

and raised their voice, saying, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!”

Then he said to them, “How do they claim that the Messiah is the Son of David?

At that time he cured many of their diseases, sufferings, and evil spirits; he also granted sight to many who were blind.

Does not scripture say that the Messiah will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”

the gospel about his Son, descended from David according to the flesh,

theirs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, is the Messiah. God who is over all be blessed forever. Amen. God’s Free Choice.
