And there people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Courage, child, your sins are forgiven.”

Go, eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a merry heart, because it is now that God favors your works.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction.”

They had all seen him and were terrified. But at once he spoke with them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!”

I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.”

and did not need anyone to testify about human nature. He himself understood it well.

Jesus said to them, “Children, have you caught anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.”

He listened to Paul speaking, who looked intently at him, saw that he had the faith to be healed,
