“The clean of hand and pure of heart, who has not given his soul to useless things, what is vain.

You will let me hear gladness and joy; the bones you have crushed will rejoice.

let us approach with a sincere heart and in absolute trust, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

The Lord loves the pure of heart; the person of winning speech has a king for a friend.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God.

At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.
