When he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.
When John heard in prison of the works of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to him
Now Herod had arrested John, bound [him], and put him in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip,
After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God:
Herod was the one who had John arrested and bound in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, whom he had married.
But they were adamant and said, “He is inciting the people with his teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he began even to here.” Jesus Before Herod.

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of him spread throughout the whole region.
Jesus then went down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee. He taught them on the sabbath,
The next day he decided to go to Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, “Follow me.”
Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.
for John had not yet been imprisoned.
After the two days, he left there for Galilee.
[Now] this was the second sign Jesus did when he came to Galilee from Judea.
