Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.

He stretched out the form of a hand and seized me by the hair of my head. The spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in divine vision to Jerusalem to the entrance of the inner gate facing north where the statue of jealousy that provokes jealousy stood.

I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me,

When they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but continued on his way rejoicing.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested.

Rather, each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
