Then Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, and the king stood up to meet her and paid her homage. Then he sat down upon his throne, and a throne was provided for the king’s mother, who sat at his right.

Jesus stopped and called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Jesus said to him in reply, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.”

So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God.

Herodias’s own daughter came in and performed a dance that delighted Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask of me whatever you wish and I will grant it to you.”

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”

While they were listening to him speak, he proceeded to tell a parable because he was near Jerusalem and they thought that the kingdom of God would appear there immediately.

Then an argument broke out among them about which of them should be regarded as the greatest.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.

When they had gathered together they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

love one another with mutual affection; anticipate one another in showing honor.

Who will condemn? It is Christ [Jesus] who died, rather, was raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us.

If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
