The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty.

The disciples said to him, “Where could we ever get enough bread in this deserted place to satisfy such a crowd?”

For he satisfied the thirsty, filled the hungry with good things.

He set it before them, and when they had eaten, they had some left over, according to the word of the Lord.

Those who ate were four thousand men, not counting women and children.

but his disciples took him one night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket.
