Canaan became the father of Sidon, his firstborn, and of Heth;

so that the Canaanite borders extended from Sidon all the way to Gerar, near Gaza, and all the way to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, near Lasha.

“Zebulun shall dwell by the seashore; he will be a haven for ships, and his flank shall rest on Sidon.

Crushed, you shall exult no more, virgin daughter Sidon. Arise, pass over to the Kittim, even there you shall find no rest.

Similarly, good works are also public; and even those that are not cannot remain hidden.
