And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect.

For the man on whom this sign of healing had been done was over forty years old. Prayer of the Community.

He went off with him, and a large crowd followed him and pressed upon him.

She had suffered greatly at the hands of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet she was not helped but only grew worse.
