Ahaziah fell through the lattice of his roof terrace at Samaria and was injured. So he sent out messengers with the instructions: “Go and inquire of Baalzebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this injury.”

One day as Jesus was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was with him for healing.

The feast of the Dedication was then taking place in Jerusalem. It was winter.

The crowd answered, “You are possessed! Who is trying to kill you?”

The Jews answered and said to him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed?”

[So] the Jews said to him, “Now we are sure that you are possessed. Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, ‘Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.’
